Xianmei Fang is a Chinese organist, harpsichordist, and pianist studying at the Mozarteum University Salzburg, where she also serves as the student assistant to Prof. Hannfried Lucke. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Organ and Harpsichord at the Mozarteum with the highest distinction. In 2024, she received the Förderpreis Scholarship of the International Summer Academy, awarded by the State of Salzburg for outstanding artistic achievement. Her organ activities include multiple solo recitals at the Salzburg Cathedral, performances with the Mozarteum University Wind Orchestra and Choir, and collaborations with the Mozarteum University Baroque Orchestra. She performed at the opening ceremony of the Salzburg Festival and gave a solo recital in the Stiftung Mozarteum Great Hall. She has appeared as a recitalist in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland, won Third Prize at the Maria Hofer Organ Competition in Kitzbühel, and performed at the 10th-anniversary organ celebration of Coi de Pera in Belluno, Italy. As a harpsichordist, she performed the complete Goldberg Variations on the harpsichord at the Mozarteum University Salzburg and was invited to appear as a harpsichordist at the Prangins
Baroque Music Festival in Switzerland, where she performed both solo and chamber music repertoire. She has been invited to festivals including the Konzerthaus Vienna Early Music Festival, the Ljubljana Festival, the ORA Early Music Festival in Austria, and the Accademia Chigiana Festival in Siena. Her piano background includes First Prizes at the Singapore International Piano Competition (China Division) and the Pacific Rim International Piano Competition (USA), as well as performances at Carnegie Hall in New York and appearances at TED Talk events. Her international performance footprint covers the United States, Canada, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Liechtenstein, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Singapore, South Korea, and China.
